Bridgman Public Schools Freedom of Information Request

- All information pertaining to how I became employed at Bridgman Public Schools. Provide any job applications, interviews, and/or emails pertaining to my being hired at BPS as a ParaPro for the 2021 fall semester.
- All information relating to Bridgman Public Schools Assistant Superintendent Sam Stine approaching me in July of 2021 (while I was mowing the lawns at BPS voluntarily) and asking me about my experience as an Aquatic Director.
- All information relating to Mr. Stine approaching me at my place of employment in August of 2021 and offering me the position of Aquatic Director at BPS.
- All information pertaining to Bridgman High School Principal Gerald Heath offering me the position of Substitute Teacher where I would work one-to-one with a student with Autism.
- All information relating to Mr. Heath contacting me prior to my first day of work to inform me that I was not qualified to become a Substitute Teacher and that I would be relegated to the position of ParaPro while still working with the student with Autism.
- All information relating to the Bridgman Board of Education subrogating their authority to BPS Superintendent Shane Peters for matters relating to the COVID lockdown for the fall semester of 2021. Specifically, who made the decisions regarding the mask mandate that violated the Equal Protection Clause for students – was it Mr. Peters or the MI Teachers Union?
- All information regarding Mr. Peters publicly claiming that Diverse, Equity, and Inclusion along with Critical Race Theory was NOT being taught at Bridgman Public Schools when evidence proved otherwise .
- All information that has been provided to parents (notices, letters, emails, etc.) relating to Bridgman Public Schools sanctioning an LGBTQ+ organization (club) that provides information directly to students on how to receive reproduction and/or gender- affirming care at the Out Center of Benton Harbor and Planned Parenthood in Niles.
- All information relating to Reed Middle School Principal John Truesdell refusing to discipline an 8th grade student of color who verbally and physically assaulted a white female high school senior during Study Skills. This would include whether or not the female senior ever returned to RMS as a mentor following the incident.
- All information relating to Mr. Truesdell contacting me on the evening of December 2, 2021 to inform me that I was being placed on paid Administrative Leave pending an investigation of Professional Misconduct and not to return to BPS until notified.
- All information relating to my being paid from December 3rd to December 17th even though I hadn’t performed any work.
- All information and evidence regarding Bridgman Public Schools claiming to the MI Department of Labor claiming that I had quit BPS in lieu of being placed on Administrative Leave.
- All information relating to Bridgman Public Schools claiming to EduStaff that I had “self-terminated”. - Information as to what discipline (if any) was placed on the Bridgman Public School Social Worker who had an 8645 sticker on her laptop for all students she interacted with to seed during the fall of 2021.
- Information as to whether the Bridgman Board of Education and Administration condoned the subject matter of what was being taught to students by the Social Worker as it relates to Gender Identity and Critical Race Theory.
- And as a follow up, were Bridgman Public School Parents made aware of what material was being presented to students by the Social Worker. - Please provide all information (if any exists) as to how parents were notified that a biological male was allowed to participate on the Girls Swim/Dive Team and use spaces intended for females during the 2020-2021 school year.
